Alice Falls is a 35─40-foot-high, dammed waterfall formed on the Ausable River ~1.7 miles downriver from Anderson Falls, and less than 0.5 miles upriver from Rainbow Falls. Don’t let the presence of the dam or the fact that the fall is used for hydroelectric power discourage you from visiting this waterfall.
Getting there: From Keeseville (junction of Routes 9 & 9N), drive northeast on Route 9 for over 1.0 mile. Turn right at the sign for Alice Falls Hydro. Park to your left before you reach the log cabin station house.
